Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Mario Kart 7, and WWE 12!
Yup, we're still seeing some old classics from early 2000 being remastered for the current generation. This week we take a look at Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, a remake that is downloadable on the PlayStation Network. Also, we preview the new Mario Kart game for the Nintendo 3DS and the new WWE wrestling game that just came out!
Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus
Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus originally came out in 2002 for the PlayStation 2 and was so successful that it was republished as a "Greatest Hits" title and also got two equally good sequels. In the game, you play as master thief Sly, the raccoon, who must hunt down the people who stole his family's secret book. The book itself contains all the special thieving moves of Sly's ancestors, which you will learn as you recover pieces of the book. Use the special moves and stealth to sneak around and steal crucial items without being noticed or combat foes with your cane.
Mario Kart 7
A brand new Mario Kart game is coming out for the Nintendo 3DS! New in this game are customizable karts. You can change up the wheels to improve handling and even add a parachute or hangglider! New characters and power ups have also been added to the game, including Queen Bee, Lakitu, Metal Mario, Fire Flower, and the Super Leaf!
If you are a fan of professional wrestling, you will love WWE 12. The grappling and pinning systems in the game have been completely changed. Now different moves and abilities are available depending on the physical state of your character and your opponent's character. Other new features, such as Dynamic Comebacks, wake up taunts, and Breaking Point submissions, make matches more exciting. Returning is the popular WWE Universe mode and Road to WrestleMania.
