At my school, instead of staying after school, we stay in at our lunch break and have to read or color. Just sit quietly and keep busy, I know this because I accidently got my friend a detention, when it was my fault! I wasn't worried though, because detention isn't very bad. The teachers can't physically hurt you or go too bad on punishment. Just make sure you have something appropriate to keep you busy, like a book.

Don't worry about it. I got a detention and it turns out that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be so don't fret.

detention is boring! you just sit there and sometimes teachers allow you to do homework, but try to stay out of trouble so you don't get one!
