No.10:  Camp Kids

campingIf it's not raining than roughing it is a nice way to get out of town

The great outdoors is just that, “great”! Roughing it can mean also mean resting up, camping is a great way to get away from it all, spend some quality time with your parents or friends and forget about school and stress.

No.9:  Hobby Holiday

craftingFill your holiday with your fave hobbies!

Whether it’s cooking, karate or crafting, you probably have a hobby that’s been on hold since your last holiday.  Set aside your schoolbooks this for Spring Break and get back into your favorite hobby.

No.8:  Turn The Page

The Hunger GamesCozy up with a good book, or three! Have you read The Hunger Games Trilogy yet?

Being on break doesn’t mean you have to take a break from books altogether, especially if the weather isn’t the best. If you find yourself stuck indoors for Spring Break curl up with a story at home or lose yourself at the library.

No.7:  Get Out!

picnicpicnics, hikes, going for ice cream - anything out of the house is good for busting boredom

...Outside that is! If you luck out and get clear skies than Spring is the time to get out and smell the roses – literally! You can go hiking, get down to the beach, picnic in the park or just explore the city with friends or just go shopping (there’s more outside than just natural beauty after all.)

No.6: Video Game Vacation

If you’re a gifted gamer than this could be your chance to hunker down and make it to the next level. Make sure you stock up on supplies, like snacks, pop and candy, and invite your friends over to share in the gaming glee.

No.5: Tourist In Your Town

Coney IslandBecome a tourist in your own town by hitting up museums, amusement parks and local sites (on Coney Island in N.Y. the amusement park and the beach are one and the same!)

When was the last time you hit up your local aquarium, art museum or amusement park? Be a tourist in your own town during Spring Break, seeing your local sites and remembering why you love the city you live in.

No.4: Family Fun

ScrabbleBring out the board games and enjoy a night in with your family

Visiting grandparents, cousins and just staying home with your parents or siblings can be a relaxing and restful way to pass the holiday. If you get bored, bust out the board games to bring everyone together. There’s nothing like a little healthy competition to mix things up.

No.3: Spring Sports

If it’s dry and there’s not a cloud in the sky, it might be time to think about dusting off your soccer ball, breaking out your softball bat or hitting the basketball courts. Whether its playing with your friends in the park of just messing around in the back yard, shake off those Winter blues and show everyone your moves.

Going away for Spring Break is the ultimate way to make sure you get the max out of your time off, especially if that somewhere is a place where you can slap on some sun screen and peace out by the pool.

No matter how fancy a school is, there will be behaviour problems. Homework can be left to the last minute depending on how tactile you are, after the first few months you'll want to disappear unless you become popular but hang in there! Also, there are three types of people at Middle School or Secondary School:The cacti-The cacti are people who seem hard on the outside [we all have to be in Middle School] but are really lovely and soft if you get to know them. Some cacti can be pricks [no pun intended] but most are nice enough people so a cacti is probably an ideal friend at Middle School. The rocks-AVOID AT ALL COSTS! These are the people who are completely tough and are often bullies. It often seems like they have no emotions because they don't. They are sociopaths and must be avoided. But they are often popular jock kids. The marshmallows-These guys are pretty good, they're soft all the way through and get along well with most people and mostly abide by the rules. They can be hurt easily and roasted because they're so soft. Marshmallows are often smart and get along well with teachers as a result. The only flaw with marshmallows is that some have the tendency to rub their good grades in your face and make you feel insecure but they're nice people mostly.Oh and we can also get cacti rocks and spiky marshmallows.Hope I helped  Teachers are never the enemy!! They're there to help you. They can be a very valuable resource and it is so very important to collaborate with them to make the most of your learning experience!  If you put off a cold attitude and don't speak to people, they're more than likely going to assume you're stuck up and that can make the experience a lot worse than it has to be. Smile, be kind, and if there's someone picking on you, tell a teacher or other staff member, and try to stay out of their path. (I know from experience being an "outsider", it's better not to make yourself a quiet target). im nervous about starting high school.  middle school was alot of fun but you do get alot of classwork and homework. i couldnt have said it any better like you did kirsteeeen.   [s:p/zxl]

Doctors might be the more ethical choice, but honestly I think a lot of celebrities do deserve high salaries considering the scrutiny, lack of privacy, and judgement they go through. They're human too, and their lives are turned upside down once they become part of the spotlight.  Both are respectable careers, in their own ways, and I think that certain positions in the medical profession should get a raise.
