The Lord of the Rings Movie :: CD Cardz Review

Lord Of The Rings
Lord Of The Rings

If you're a Lord of the Rings fan, these cool Lord of the Rings Collectible CD Cardz are right up your alley. Set 1 of these cards features the Lord of the Rings heroes Frodo the Hobbit, Aragorn the Ranger and Gandalf the wizard. The fourth CD Card even has the evil Ringwraiths on it.

The Lord of the Rings CD Cardz each have a bunch of images and info about the featured character. They tell you who they are, where they came from and what they're doing in the first Lord of the Rings movie - The Fellowship of the Ring. There's also a scavenger hunt for an exclusive Lord of the Rings screensaver. Plus, while you're looking around the contents of the CD Cardz there are animated sequences that play when your mouse moves over certain spots.

They sound cool don't they?

The problem is, they suck. How much do they suck? You really don't want to know...

Well, ok, here's how much they suck:

As soon as you toss one of these CD Cardz into your PC you may as well contact NASA and let them know you have liftoff. The cards make so much noise when they spin that you'd swear they're about to take flight. You can hardly even hear the music over the racket. The CD Cardz don't slow down much either so the noise doesn't go away.

On top of the noise, these things are overpriced junk AND they'll install ads for AOL on your computer - without even asking your permission! There are 10 small Lord of the Rings images on the CD that you can't do anything with, a bit of outdated info on the first Lord of the Rings movie and some cheesy graphics. Admittedly the CD Cardz look nice, but so does wax fruit. If you've got $20, take a date to the movie, don't waste your cash on these stinkers.

Okay, it's not a major console or PC game, but the "How to Train Your Dragon" game just became free so I thought I'd share. I absolutely loved "How to Train Your Dragon," so I was so happy when I saw this app finally become free. It's so fun for a simple puzzle mobile game! It's so well-done, AND YOU CAN PLAY AS TOOTHLESS. Ahh, it's the best! Just thought I'd share this with you all in case there are other "How to Train Your Dragon" fans out there!

Well Wittzle Pro is a mental math card game. It's where you have to roll dice to find a target number and look for an equation using three numbers in the same row, colum,or diagonal. When you find it you yell wittzle and you call out your equation. If you get it right you get the point.

The first game came out in 1991  ;) Anyway, I love Sonic! I stink at the games though lol My favorite characters are Knuckles and Charmy And I agree that this is the best single-player game ever!

At least you aren't restricted to TTC/or be only able to try the 3-day trial.  We're actually very lucky now; nonmembers don't give Disney a lick of money. I think Toontown is very different from Club Penguin.  It has a full plot and it's 3-Dimensional.  Also, you don't really do all that much in Club Penguin other than chat and do some mini-missions.  Also, the games were targeted to a different audience... and I feel that Toontown has more memories than Club Penguin; though that may be a bit biased as I don't really have any friends on Club Penguin (LOL), don't really play anymore anyway.
