2012 NFL Draft

The first round of the 2012 NFL Draft took place on April 26, 2012 and if you are a big NFL fan, it’s always good to know which new faces are going to turn some heads next season. Let Kidzworld introduce you to the top 3 picks of the NFL Draft!

#1 - Andrew Luck

Well if there’s any team that needs a little bit of Luck after losing the best player (Peyton Manning) in the NFL for the entire last season, it’s the Indianapolis Colts who chose Andrew Luck as their new quarterback. Andrew is one of the greatest quarterbacks out of Stanford University and his stats are flawless, racking up 10,000 yards passing in only three seasons with a 70% completion rating. Colts fans get ready for another 10-20 years of great football!

#2 - Robert Griffin III

Last year’s Heisman Trophy winner was Robert Griffin the 3rd… or you can call him “RG3”. Much like CP3 (Chris Paul of the LA Clippers), anyone with moves as quick as Robert is considered non-human and therefore they earn the robotic name.  Robert is a Quarterback and will give the Redskins a fast, explosive offense that has all the Dallas Cowboy fans petrified for next season.

#3 - Trent Richardson

The Cleveland Browns snaked the third pick to get the #1 running back Trent Richardson from the Minnesota Vikings. Well, don’t worry Viking fans, with a back like Adrian Pederson, you don’t really need any dilemmas over who gets to carry the ball.

considering rooney is a man united legend, and has scored the all time number of goals, i think people are being a bit harsh on him at the moment. i watched carrack's testimonial not long ago, and in honesty i couldn't really tell him apart from those who have retired but his heart is in united and he's a class player. maybe it's time for him to step aside for the newer players to start building on united's success, and play less games but the lads on social media calling him out for every second he's not training, or demanding we drop him i think need to calm down. this is a proper legend, and we should respect his commitment to the team. thoughts?
