2012 London Olympic Athletic Gear

Jun 26, 2012

The 2012 London Olympics are only one month away! Do you have your good luck charms ready?!!?!? If you don’t have any good luck charms, you could be at fault for your country not winning any medals this year. Not to worry, there’s lots of Olympic stuff out right now that is bound to give your country some good luck.

Electric Logo

London has gone back in time to everyone's favorite year... 1985! This new Olympic logo is definitely the raddest, most choice, gnarley logo ever... bro. Whaddup Vancouver, Beijing, and Turino? London is gonna electric bugaloo on you!!! BTW... in case you can't figure out what the logo is... it spells "2012" all funky-like.

Who are these guys?

Wenlock and MandevilleWenlock and Mandeville

Wenlock and Mandeville mascots are the coolest mascots ever. I mean... these sneaky mascots are hard to figure out but once you know that they are symbols of two drops of steel from the steelworks in Bolton, England… you know they have got some power and they're gonna rule the day.

Country Colors

It’s always lucky to wear your own countries colors. The pride of a nation is something that grows with the population. When the home team sees a massive cloud of white jersies filling the arena, you know it gives them a boost of energy to help win. So it's not really luck at all, and i's a proven fact to help out your team!

Homemade Heros

Homemade HatHomemade Hat

The best Olympic gear is actually homemade gear. You can make your own goodluck charms, spraypaint your white t-shirts red, white and blue, make a huge hat with a Canadian Maple Leaf. These original and unique things are definitely what people want to see during the Olympics.  AND FYI… cameramen definitely look for facepainters if you want to get on TV!

So whether you’re actually going to London or you’re just sitting around with your BFF watching the Games on TV, make sure to have something close to your heart. These athletes have spent their entire lives preparing to bring a medal back to your country… let’s go Kidzworld fans and show off your spirit and cheer on these athletes!

It's definitely an American thing - here in Australia we have like no Cheerleaders or Cheerleading groups. I think it's a sport but I'm not really into it. I think any girls or boys can do it. :3
