Jul 25, 2012

This week on Pretty Little Liars (Season 3, Episode 7) After Detective Wilden pays her a visit Hanna worries that ‘A’ is framing her for Alison’s murder! Read the Kidzworld Recap of Crazy which aired July 24, 2012 to discover what you missed!

Visiting Hours

Hanna’s mother is out of town and just as she’s about to leave for school Detective Wilden shows up on her doorstep asking for a blood sample – with the new evidence they clearly now think of Hanna as a suspect, and ‘A’ later reminds Hanna how easy it is to get her blood when a Ouija board planchette she and Mona once used that she buried with Alison shows up.

Aria decides to pay Mona a visit at Radley to find out if she’s behind the return of the items from Alison’s grave, but as soon as they get an unsupervised moment Mona claims she has nothing to do with it. Aria runs into Hanna on her way to ask the same questions and they both sneak back in and find that Mona has picked the lock on her room and gone down to a creepy basement where she is brushing a doll’s hair and saying cryptic nonsense like “"Miss Aria, you're a killer, not Ezra's Wife,” and "Where were we? Maya's away sleeping sweet. Until Garrett's all rosy, count on me."

The New Girl

Early in the episode Aria, Spencer and Emily hear a voice that sounds exactly like Ali’s in The Brew, but when the girl turns around and introduces herself she turns out to be CeCe, a friend of Alison’s from Cape May with all of Alison’s sass and mannerisms. She works in a store on Rosewood’s high street and knows all about the liars, and is an ex-flame of Alison’s brother Jason.

Meanwhile Alison’s father is back in town and Hanna goes to apologize to him, apparently the night Mona and Hanna used the Ouija board she thought she saw Alison outside the window, but it turned out later that she had already been dead three days and Mr. DiLaurentis assumed she was pulling a cruel prank.

Crushes and Crashes

Maya’s cousin Nate has asked Jenna out and keeps bugging Emily to help him find a late birthday present for her, not understanding why Emily is reluctant since Jenna claims they are good friends. Cece convinces Emily that she must tell Nate why she doesn’t like Jenna, but when she tries it goes completely awry and he likes Jenna even more – although he admits that if the “prettiest girl in Rosewood” liked guys, it’d be a different story! Cece takes things into her own hands when she runs into Emily by pretending to be a jealous girlfriend and calling Jenna and warning her away from Nate! Nate isn’t the only person getting love, Ella meets an online date – pastor Ted! But it turns out to be the barista at The Brew, Zach, who catches her eye in the end.

Jason gets drunk and crashes his car right in front of Spencer, and she manages to cover up his tracks so nobody knows. She drags him home and confesses what happened to Toby just in time to get a knock on the door from Detective Wilden about her abandoned car.

At the end of the episode Hanna is looking at Mona’s creepy doll from Radley and something clicks that Mona had said about code, she realizes she wasn’t saying nonsense at all and the code leads the liars right to a website with Maya’s picture on it!
