Whistler Crankworx 2012

Mountain bikers must be pretty stoked about Crankworx 2012, one of the world’s coolest competitions at Whistler mountain in British Columbia, Canada. The mountains around Vancouver have some of the most amazing scenery, so these races make just awesome pictures for mountain bikers.

The schedule starts Friday, August, 2012 and the competition runs for more than a week. It’s full of different events:

  • Dual Speed & Style
  • Garbanzo Downhill
  • Whip-Off
  • Air Downhill
  • Best Trick
  • Ultimate Pump Track
  • Dual Slalom

During this festival of biking sports, the pros will be bending physics and blowing minds with their tail-whipping back-flipping hard-charging ways. For the eighth year running, the venues of the Whistler Mountain Bike Parkserve as modern day Coliseum, masterpieces of stunt and trail engineering, forum for the ultimate in gladiator contests and public spectacle.

 

 

Are you a gnarley mountain biker with a quest for radical speed or maneuvering? Well, hurry up and get your butt out to Whistlerfor this amazing summertime event. Well, even if you’re not into mountain biking… it’s going to be a sweet event to watch while your looking out for black bears.
