Samantha Testa Bio

Age: 20
Born in Montreal
Home town: Ottawa
Music genre: Pop Rock
Instruments: Vocals, Piano & Guitar

Samantha’s vocals have the depth and the breadth that will definitely leave an indelible mark on music. Singer, songwriter and self taught multi instrumentalist, she has quickly devoured music in its entirety, collaborating with industry songwriters, from San Francisco, Canada and Nashville to writing and arranging her own material.

Samantha has moved from a young talent to a true industry professional in 4 short years.  Her music has qualities of pop mixed with raw power and edge of rock, something not found in many female singers. As her musical taste matured so did her music and song writing. Samantha is now performing close up and personal shows.

Performing in Canada and in the USA, this vocal phe'nom has opened the Kitchener Bluesfest in 2009, sung for the American & Canadian Women's Olympic Hockey team, and performed at the International talent showcase in Raleigh, North Carolina, representing Canada, Germany, Hawaii and Japan.

Collaborating with songwriters from Nashville, L.A, Saskatchewan, Toronto & Montreal, her writing skills are expanding with a maturity that comes across in her lyrics and song arrangement.

Samantha is not only driven but is using her talent to bring visibility to important issues such as "Light the Night" Leukemia foundation both the Ottawa and Montreal chapters; as well as being the ambassador for Ottawa's "Children’s Wish foundation", and the "Run for a Cure" cancer research.

Working with the accredited live music producer Tom Jackson-Tom Jackson Productions Nashville, live music producer for Taylor Swift; Sam has been profiled as one of the artists doing it right!

Samantha has refined her live performance to engage the audience with her confidence and on-stage authority.

"I felt like you were telling my story", is what fans are saying.

Just back from Nashville working with award winning producer Steve Dady at Sunset Boulevard Studios, Samantha recorded two more singles, which will be available exclusively for FREE downloads soon.

Self taught piano and guitar, this artist is not afraid to strip it down. Samantha is currently performing her one woman show 'Up Close & Personal' where she continues to engage her fans in an intimate one on one setting.
