Atlus, the makers of Persona, and ARC System Works, the makers of the awesome fighting games Guilty Gear and BlazBlue, have teamed up to create something really special: Persona 4 Arena, a brand new fighting game based around the characters of Persona 4!
Easy to Learn, Lifetime to Master
Persona Arena 4 stands out from ARC System Works' other fighting games in that it is designed to be easy to learn. There are auto-combos that you can do by simply pushing the same button several times with correct timing. While these combos may not be as long or as hard hitting as more advanced combos, even expert players are using them as part of their longer combo chains! For expert fighters, there are air dashes, double jumps, overheads, sweeps, reversal and many more tools that you can use. And don't worry if that sounds over your head, the tutorial and training mode in Persona 4 Arena is great!
What's Your Persona?
The core feature of Persona 4 Arena is the personas themselves. Your character can use them to beef up their attacks or to do special moves. However, if you are careless, your persona can take damage and will need time to recover before you can use it again. Overall, Persona 4 Arena is a rich fighter with lots of potential. The story mode for the game is also rich and full of flavor. Fans of Persona 4 will be happy to know that the original director worked with his team to come up with the script for the game and made sure that it fit with the RPG. With so much care and thought put into the game, it's a sure knockout!
