New Personas

Tensions are flaring in the Top Model house, particularly between tomboy Destiny and mean girl Kristin. Tyler Perry showed up to announce this week’s challenge. The girls had to embody one of 4 characters - rapper, tourist, Hollywood diva or street performer - on the streets of L.A. while Tyler Perry and Tyra gave them instructions through an ear piece. A lot of girls made fools of themselves with their over the top performances, but that was the requirement of the challenge. Ultimately, Kiara, Yvonne and Victoria committed to their performances the best, but Kiara walked away with the prize: a small part on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.

Zombies

At their photo shoot, the girls were sent to the set of War of the Worlds at Universal Studios where they had to portray the beautiful side of gore by embodying zombies. Many girls, including Kristin, struggled with the shoot by keeping their facial expressions too pretty. Nastasia struggled with extending her body causing her to photograph short, according to their mentor Johnny Wujek. And Yvonne struggled with finding the right angles for her curves.

Elimination

At Panel, Kristin questioned the judges about how not to be pretty in a photo. Tyra pointed to two words on the wall - Ugly Pretty - and demonstrated how to embody both at once. Laura received best photo this week, while Yvonne and Destiny wound up in the bottom two. Ultimately, the combined total of the judges scores and America’s scores led to Destiny being sent home.
