Dear Dish-It: I Want a Puppy!

Puppy Love asks: I really want a puppy. When I was younger my parents promised me that when I turned 12, I could get one as long as I took care of it. But now they’re saying that they never said that. It’s not fair! I promised I would take care of it but they don’t believe me. What should I do? Back to Article

Not to be offensive or anything, but 12 year olds are not perfect responsible owners. Neither are adults, but we all make mistakes. I suggest, spending 3 or 4 months proving your worthy, and responsible. then also save up your money! They aint paying for ALL of the dog. Frustrated

its great tht you wanted a puppy soo much tht u remember but having a puppy means taking it to the bathroom every single day,feeding it and when your super sleeepy and just got to bed the dog might bark during that same time so if u can handel tht then have fun with ur dog and remember to love it no matter if ur a ngry at it tht dog will be urs also try to save ur money maybe thts y ur parents cant buy the dog ttyl from cherry smile

That's a big comment Nicole (: I have 3 dogs . 2 of them are minature (small) and a rescue dog. She is a greyhound. She's loves to eat run out in the backyard and get into her crate in my room and sleep.

i had a puppy i got it wen it was 2 monthes old and it was a jack russel and i didnt train it well enough and it started chasin cars so we got a shock collar cuz i was worried lulu (the dog) would wait in the middle of the rd for a car anyways we got the shock colar and it worked and then one day she did it again and my dads best friend ran her over Frown she dies april 26 2012 6 monthes old i miss her SOO much i want her bak
