The X Factor: Season 2, Episode 13:: Wild Card (Part 2)

Nov 02, 2012

Last night on The X Factor the judges revealed the Top 12, and we get to see the contestants battle for their spots. Find out who stayed and who got sent home in the Kidzworld Recap of Season 2, Episode 13 which aired November 1st, 2012.

The Rules

Each judge was allowed to keep two of their contestants safe, while the other two were forced to battle it out in a vocal showdown for the judges and audiences, you might be shocked at who stays and who goes!

The Young Adults

After rocking the house last week Demi decided to keep Jennel Garcia safe as well as Paige Thomas. Cece Frey and Willie Jones had to sing for to keep their spots. Cece took on Irene Cara's "Out Here on My Own," and got the enitre audience and judges panel feeloing emotional. Willie sang the Ray Charles classic "You Don't Know Me" in his one of a kind vocal style, but it wasn't enough.

Who's Out: Willie Jones

The Teens

In Britney's group it was the two tiny divas, Beatrice Miller and Carly Rose Sonenclar, who were safe from elimination. That left Arin Ray and Diamond White singing  to save their chances. Arin belted out Whitney Houston's "I Look to You," and it was hard to hear him over all the girls screaming. Diamond performed an almost pitch perfect rendition of Mary J. Blige's "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word." This category had to be one of the toughest decisions of the night since the judges unilaterally agreed that neither deserved to be leaving the competition. Get ready to be shocked - Diamond got sent home.

Who's Out: Diamond White

The Over 25s

L.A chose to keep country singer Tate Stevens and rocker Vino Alan safe, leaving Jason Brock and David Correy to sing against each other. David chose to sing Kelly Clarkson's "Since You Been Gone," hitting some wild notes, but the judges leaned toward feeling it was a little too dramatic. Jason sang Whitney Houston's "One Moment in Time," and managed to save his spot, although Simon wasn't crazy about it either.

Who's Out: David Correy

The Groups

Lyric 145 and Emblem3 were safe (and one member of E3 apparently had to go to hospital for eating bad tuna), leaving Sister C and girl group 1432 to sing their hearts out. Sister C performed Miley Cyrus' "When I Look at You," and the judges enjoyed their beautiful harmonies, but in a bold move 1432 decided to sing Demi's "Skyscraper" and Demi admitted that she thought they did a better job than the original singer!

Who's Out: Sister C
