Halo 4, Skylanders Giants, and Pokedex 3D Pro!
Well, Halloween is over and we're getting close to the winter holiday season! As such, many highly anticipated games are starting to come out. This week we check out Halo 4, Skylander Giants, and Pokedex 3D Pro!
Halo 4
Master Chief is back and ready for action! Halo 4 kick starts a brand new trilogy of games featuring the Spartan. The story begins four years after the conclusion in Halo 3 and features a story mode that can be played alone or in co-op. You can team up with a friend locally using split screen or play with up to three other players online. The story has Master Chief coming out of hibernation near a mysterious Forerunner planet. The gameplay will focus more on mystery, exploration and discovery instead of straightforward first-person shooter action.
Skylanders Giants
Kaos is also back and ready for action! Unfortunately, this is bad news for the Skylanders, who must rally together once again to stop Kaos from acquiring the Glove or Arkus and taking over the world. Joining Spyro and his friends are ancient Skylanders, called Giants, who are much larger than the normal sized Skylanders. Skylanders Giants is a sequel to the original game and features new toys that you can use along with all your old ones. Returning characters also get a "Series 2" toy that you can use.
Pokedex 3D Pro
The Nintendo 3DS app, Pokedex 3D Pro will be out this week. Unlike the first Pokedex app, this one isn't free. However, it will immediately contain information on all 648 Pokemon without the need for unlocking. The app will also feature voices from the official TV show and movies and will have a trivia challenge mode for special unlocks.
