The X Factor: Season 2, Episode 19:: Live Show Results #3

Nov 23, 2012

Last night on The X Factor who in the Top 10 is thankful to stay, and who went home following the Thanksgiving-themed performance show. Find out more in the Kidzworld Recap of the Live Results Show #3 which aired November 2st, 2012.

Double Elimination

This week two hopefuls are heading home for the holidays, the first of which turned out to be Arin Ray from the Teen Category, as the judges predicted. He sang Enrique Iglesias' "Hero," the night before and it just wasn't up to snuff. After announcing who's safe to go through it turns out to be Beatrice and CeCe who have to sing for survival.

Beatrice Versus CeCe

This was Beatrice Miller's first time singing for survival, and CeCe Frey's second. Beatrice belted out "White Flag" by Dido and CeCe  went with Kelly Clarkson's " Because of You," and managed to win the majority of votes. Her mentor Britney voted to keep her, but Simon felt that it wasn't her time yet, and L.A. agreed.

The Ranking

Here's how people voted this week:

1. Carly Rose Sonenclar
2. Tate Stevens
3. Vino Alan
4. Emblem3
5. Diamond White
6. Paige Thomas
7. Fifth Harmony
8. CeCe Frey

Check out Beatrice's last song on The X Factor below!

It included a lot of mature themes and it really connects with today's older youth. You mean violence wise? Not just that, but the show tells the stories of the characters finding themselves. Take Asami for example. A lot of people have a late relative and another relative involved in some kind of trouble. She had her relationships AND family business to take care of, which relates to some of today's youth who feel like they have the whole world on their shoulders. They're starting to have to take responsibility for things they can hardly manage, and seeing the triumph of a character like Asami is truly inspiring. Her mother's dead, her father's in prison, her boyfriend was stolen from her, and her business nearly failed. But she did not give up, which sends a positive message to today's generation of teens. Mako was not stolen from Asami he just chose Korra and everyone knows that thats what people wanted. As messed up as that sounds its the truth.
