Gossip Girl: Season 6, Episode 8 :: It's Really Complicated

Dec 04, 2012

This week on Gossip Girl (Season 6, Episode 8), Thanksgiving gets overshadowed by drama as Dan becomes "one of them." Read Kidzworld’s recap of “It's Really Complicated,” which aired on December 3, 2012, to discover what you missed.

Thanksgiving

Serena and Dan decide to host their very first Thanksgiving as a couple. But when Serena runs into her ex-fiance, Steven, and his daughter Sage, she invites them to join. Dan isn't pleased, especially when Steven calls Dan her rebound guy and admits that he still wants to be with Serena. Despite his real feelings for Serena, Dan decides to go ahead and publish the Serena chapter that he wrote for Vanity Fair - a hateful, yet true, account of the real Serena. Dan admits that he's never felt like he truly belonged in their elite world. So now that he has sunk as low as backstabbing his friends, he has become just like the rest of them. Unfortunately, none of them see it that way and everyone turns on him.

More Dirt

Meanwhile, Chuck has given up on trying to defeat his father, especially now that the evidence has been destroyed. Not ready to give up on her relationship with Chuck, Blair takes matters into her own hands and digs up more dirt on Bart Bass. This dirt finally gets Lily to see the true Bart.

Have Your Say

Do you think what Dan is doing - publishing stories about his friends - is worse than the verbal backstabbing that others do on a daily basis? Tell us in our comment section below!

I know little to nothing about Tom Hiddleston, but he seems like a really nice guy, and I'd hate for Taylor to ruin his reputation. However, that isn't why I dislike their relationship. I dislike the fact that they are together because Taylor cheated on Calvin Harris with him and is playing the victim, as she does. Once her and Tom split, which they- inevitably- eventually will, she is going to blame it all on him although it will not be his fault. (If Tom is to ever cheat on her, she has absolutely no right to cry and whine about it. Maybe it'll be his fault, but it won't be his fault, if you get what I'm saying.) I give them 2 months until they break up. And it won't be Tom's fault. Hopefully it will happen before I spend a day with Tom so that there is no chance he would bring Taylor with him. Also, yes, she is just using guys for music.
