Alvin and The Chipmunks will make the yuletide season bright with a festive, 18-track CD and digital collection of their most-loved holiday classics.

Chipmunks Christmas includes the perennial holiday hit, first released in 1958, “The Chipmunk Song” by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr., as well as “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Jingle Bells,” “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town,” “Frosty The Snowman,” “Deck The Halls,” and other holiday favorites.

What's not to like? Its got a story, its got artwork which gets better every year and it's a lot of fun. You can get attached to the characters, feel emotion, etc. Its the same with reading a book, watching anime or even a movie. It just happens to be in a different format.  [This may seem weird but when I'm reading a manga I can hear the sounds]
