Gossip Girl: Season 6, Episode 9 :: The Revengers

Blackmail

Chuck and Bart Bass come to the ultimate head this episode. Bart blackmails Nate into helping him stop Chuck from finding proof that will reveal his secret, but winds up putting Nate behind bars. In order to get him out of prison, Chuck must do as his dad says. He must get on the Bass private jet, fly to Moscow and never return.  

The Confrontation

At Bart's awards banquet, Blair takes it upon herself to mess with Bart's mind. But when she sees a news broadcast saying that the Bass jet crashed, her world slows to a halt. Chuck was on the plane. Bart was willing to kill his own son in order to protect his secret. But when Chuck shows up at the banquet to reveal the kind of person that his father is, Bart has his security guards remove him to the roof. The ultimate confrontation takes place on the roof. It leads to a fight, in which Bart falls off the building.

Too Little, Too Late

Meanwhile, Serena is planning to move to Los Angeles. Dan has purchased an apartment in her building and hopes to win Serena back by showing her the original, complimentary chapter that he wrote about her. But it's too little too late as Serena has already written him off.
