Trend Alert: Easter Pastels

Mar 26, 2013

There's no better time to rock the sugary sweet pastel trend than now! Easter is just around the corner and that means chocolate easter eggs, and more chocolate easter eggs in spring's signature pastel shades! Luckily it's also a hot trend for this spring so if you've been waiting to start wearing spring-like shades to refresh your winter wardrobe, there's no time like the present!

Style Tips

We just love the candy shop trend! Nothing quite says spring is on the way like pretty pale pastels! Not only does it remind us of eating candy hearts, it's an easy way to go girly without wearing florals or bows. Wear it any way you like it but we love the idea of color clashing pastels with other pastels.

Why not wear pale lavendar jeans with a pretty mint green t-shirt? Finish it off with some white trainers and you've got a statement look that is sure to get you lots of compliments! Or just pair one piece with your everyday jeans - maybe sneak in a cool pastel ring or belt too! The best thing about fashion and trends  is that you can easily just make it your own by choosing how you wear it! Why not paint your nails in powdery shades of pastel? Check out our top picks and start planning your outfits!

Sugary Sweet Celebs

There's nothing we love more than checking out what our fave celebs are wearing on and off-duty! Who wears pastel better?

Spacekitty14: I understand your situation. I have family members who have varying degrees of autism. I understand that it seems unfair to you that more attention goes to your brothers, but you have to remember that they didn't ask for this. They probably don't want to deal with the problems that they are facing. As far as giving up certain types of food, those are just sacrifices that a lot of people have to make. Just try to learn more about their condition and see what you can do to help, then you won't have to feel "left out" or "ignored" by your parents. Just be patient and understand the situation. I hope that all goes well for you and your family

Both of my brothers have autism. I am 12 and a girl. I also have a 3 y/o sister. It always seems like my parents pay more attention to them then me. I don't want to tell them about it because they will think I'm being selfish. But i can't do ANYTHING fun. My little brother is allergic to half the ingredients in most candies, so I can never go trick-or-treating. And I have not had eggs since I was 3. I always have to do everything by myself. How do I deal with this?
