90210: Season 5, Episode 20 :: You Can't Win 'Em All

Apr 30, 2013

This week on 90210 (Season 5, Episode 20), Naomi plans a birthday for Mark's kids, while Silver destroys Michaela's chance at stardom. Read Kidzworld’s recap of “You Can't Win 'Em All,” which aired on April 29th, 2013, to discover what you missed.

The Birthday Party

Because Mark was wrongly convicted of drug possession and is now in jail, Naomi throws an elaborate princess-themed birthday party for his kids. She hopes that the party will distract them from the fact that Mark isn't there. But the kids tell Liam that all they wanted for their birthday was to see their dad. Liam doesn't believe in lying to kids so he hijacks Naomi's car and drives them to the jail where they are reunited with their father. Unfortunately, Liam didn't know that if Mark's ex-wife found out about the sentence, she could legally move away with the kids. And where his kids go, Mark goes too.

Acquitted

Jordan seeks his powerful mother's help to release Mark of his charges. Unfortunately, every favor from her comes at a price. And for Jordan, that price is his relationship with Naomi. After the celebration, his mother summons him back to New York.

Starting Over

Annie tries to make things right with Liam by getting him an interview with the number 2 surfer in the country. But when his old flame shows up, Liam decides to make a fresh start and move with her to Australia.

The Winning Demo

When Silver finds out that Michaela's demo won the contest, she turns the producers down on her behalf and threatens to send Michaela back to her hometown. Little does she know that it was Adrianna who sent in the demo to get back at Silver, not Dixon as she suspects.

Feeling Betrayed

Adrianna and Navid decide to rekindle their romance. But when Michaela walks in on them in bed, she feels betrayed. Adrianna knows that Michaela has feelings for Navid, but she never told her that he and Ade had something going on. Afterwards, Michaela packs her bags and skips town, even though she's carrying Silver's baby.

I saw the premiere before I left and I have to say, I was somewhat impressed. Of course it's not as good as BMW but I think they have good potential.

I was very impressed by the first episode of Doctor Who I watched which I believe was called "Rose". It was creepy  but with enough of a hint of humor that it made for an enjoyable and interesting program. Me and my dad will definitely be continuing to watch more and more episodes of Doctor Who in the future.

The answer, obviously, is Doctor Who. The show has technically been running for almost 51 years. It's  a British T.V. show about an alien with two hearts who has been living for over 1,000 years, with a time machine that can travel anywhere, or anytime, in the universe. But there's a catch to his machine, which is known as a T.A.R.D.I.S, (Time And Relative Dimension In Space): It is forever broken and disguised as a 1950's telephone box. He chooses not to fix it, despite the companions he travels with wondering to themselves, "Why doesn't he fix it? Why did he have to break it as telephone police box?" He also tends to attempt to keep the companions for as long as possible. They tend to keep him in check, safe, sane, and non-genocidal. After all, being 1,800 years old, and I'm just guessing precisely how old he is, can make you feel lonely, angry, confused, scared, and vengeful. He had to destroy his whole planet to protect the rest of the universe from being destroyed by his people and their age old enemies, the Daleks. He will forevermore remember that day, and as punishment, from the self concious weapon he used,will have to live through for a long, long time.
