90210: Season 5, Episode 21 :: Scandal Royale

May 07, 2013

This week on 90210 (Season 5, Episode 21), everyone's lives are turned upside down in this final episode before the series finale. Read Kidzworld’s recap of “Scandal Royale,” which aired on May 6th, 2013, to discover what you missed.

Bad Reputation

Last episode, Jordan asked a favor from his mother in order to spare Naomi's brother from a prison sentence. This week, Naomi learns that, in exchange for the favor, Jordan had to end their relationship and quit his beloved publishing job. So when Jordan's sister, Elizabeth, calls Naomi for help, she jumps at the opportunity to make nice with their family. Elizabeth was looking after a Japanese prince, when he took drugs and turned their casual night of partying into a nightmare. Naomi tries to protect him from international embarassment, but when he overdoses, Jordan's mom accuses Naomi of causing the problem. So, to show her genuity, Naomi takes the fall for Elizabeth, claiming to be the prince's mystery woman at the expense of her privacy and reputation.

A Fresh Start

Annie is leaving on a European book tour for her novel Undressed, while Liam prepares to move to Australia with his new girlfriend. Annie agrees to buy the Offshoe, freeing Liam of his ties to LA. But when he goes through an old box of keepsakes and finds the engagement ring he used to propose to Annie, he realizes that he still has feelings for her. By the end of the episode it looks like Liam is having a change of heart about moving away. But will he be too late to tell Annie?

Adrianna's Advantage

After being off the grid for two days, Adrianna and Navid return to find that Michaela is missing. If they don't find her before her contest-winning performance scheduled for the next night, Dixon's career as a producer will be over. Adrianna volunteers to sing in Michaela's place, but everyone just thinks that Adrianna is trying to see the song like she did with Javier. That is, until they find Michaela and she admits that it was Adrianna who wrote the song.

No Heartbeat

Finding Michaela brings about one more revelation: at her doctor's appointment, Michaela found out that Silver's baby had no heartbeat. Silver breaks down, knowing that her dreams of having a child are now over. That's when Teddy realizes that he was wrong to not let Silver carry her own baby.

Cliffhanger

The end of the episode is a real shocker. Just after Adrianna performs the song, the pyrotechnics begin, causing real explosions on the stage. As the set begins to crumble around Adrianna, we're left wonding if she made it out alive.

Alright let me start out by saying that, I do not think you should be forced to like anime. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions out what they watch. But their is some bogus reason to why people say they hate it. 1. "Anime is For Kids" - Alright we all know this isn't true. Sure some are directed towards kids but ones like Tokyo Ghoul, Attack On Titan, Boku no Pico, and several others that would definitely change people's mind. 2. "Anime is a bad influence" - And Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Walking Dead arent?  3. "Anime has very inappropriate messages to them that are harmful to children and adults" - Doesnt everything have their little "parodies" of the original that may have a rating of Triple X? If its out there, there is a "parody" of it. Not just anime.
