The Fast & the Furious 6 Movie Review

Fast & Furious stars Paul Walker, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson are back for the sixth installment of the non-stop car action franchise, find out more in the Kidzworld Movie Review of The Fast & the Furious 6!

The Fast and the Furious 6

At the end of Fast Five, audiences found out that Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), who "died" at the end of Fast Four wasn't dead after all - and The Fast and the Furious 6 is all about getting her back. After time apart, living abroad on the riches of their last success, the team of superstar thieves is hurtled back into the world of cars, but this time on the other side of the law! When Agent Hobbes (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) shows up on Dominic Torretto's (Vin Diesel) doorstep with evidence that the love of his life, Letty is not only alive, but but working for a criminal mastermind, Owen Shaw, with an A-class drag racing team, it's time to reassemble the "family" and find out what happened (and how to stop the criminals and get her back!) In the interim O'Connor (Paul Walker) has settled down with Torretto's sister Mia (Jordana Brewster) and had a baby - but even family life can't stop him from getting to the bottom of this mystery, and taking on the ultimate challenge. It's an unusual twist for our favorite drag racing criminals to be on the right side of the law for once, and as Roman (Tyrese) puts it "fighting their evil twins," but the non-stop fights, races and intrigue are all worth it if Letty can be returned to them and they can all be granted pardons and live back in the USA (not that living the high life overseas hasn't been great, but home is home.)

The Bottom Line

The Fast and the Furious 6 has revitalized the franchise by throwing in enough new twists and turns to keep it interesting (we don't want to spoil anything, but you'll never believe who returns at the end of it!) FF6 brings back almost all the old favorites from the past, and although the main actors are starting to look...well, a little old for this (to be honest), they manage to keep the fighting interesting and reveal some surprising plot points that could come straight out of a soap opera - like amnesia and major double crossing. As usual Dwayne Johnson steals the show in every scene with just a look, and despite some sentimental scenes they keep it light with enough funny one-liners (usually from Tyrese or Ludacris) and hilarious action scenes that defy science and possibility. If you're looking for a feel-good action film, The Fast and the Furious 6 will have you laughing and gasping all the way through - and don't worry if you haven't seen the previous ones, they give you a pretty great recap all in the first ten minutes.

Psst!: If you're a fan of British singers, you might recognise a familiar face during the London drag racing scene!

Hi there! I am Rose, (If you have somehow not seen me around so far) an avid writer and roleplayer here on KW. I've recently realized that I love critique. It's one of my favorite things to do and receive. And not so recently, I realized there's a lot of OCs that need improvement out there.  Like a lot. It's kind of scary. So I've decided to start reviewing these OCs, both the good and the bad. But as always, I have some standards.  I will review OCS from these fandoms: Dr. Who Undertale Danganronpa RWBY  Soul Eater Warrior Cats Hunger Games Divergent Harry Potter Vocaloid Black Butler MLP (Yes I am a bit of a closet brony shh don't tell anyone) Ava's Demon (Although I doubt anyone knows what this is) Percy Jackson Adventure Time Steven Universe Gravity Falls 99% of Disney Attack On Titan Touhou Avatar (The four elements and stuff not the weird blue people.) Pokemans Original Works Ask me if I review anything that isnt on this list. But before people start freaking out, I do not review LOTR, Supernatural, Narnia, or Sherlock.  Please put your character in an RP style form including name, personality, backstory, and any fandom specific info. If your character is in one of the fandoms listed go ahead and post right away. I will respond ASAP with how you can improve your OC and a general rating. Be prepared for criticism. Well, go ahead and start posting your OCs!

Disney is good in my opinion but I feel like each time I watch a disney movie that it just don't want to make me watch it again. Like when I was younger I would watch my favorite disney movie a billion times but now I can barely make it through watching the same movie/episode twice.
