So You Think You Can Dance: Season 10, Week 3 :: Boston Auditions

May 29, 2013

This week on So You Think You Can Dance (Season 10, Week 3), the judges head to Boston for auditions! Read Kidzworld’s recap of the “Audition #3,” which aired on May 28th, 2013, to discover what you missed.

Family Love

This round of auditions showed us that Boston is full of talented dancers. Katlyn Rodriguez got a ticket to Vegas with the help of her younger brother. When her original dance partner bowed out just hours before the audition, Katlyn’s brother stepped up and offered to help. They quickly learned a dance and drove right to the auditions. Although the routine wasn’t perfect, it was good enough to get Katlyn to choreography where she was able to impress enough to get a golden ticket.

Fighting Back

Graceful dancer Jennifer Jones took to the stage and told her very personal life story. Growing up as a ballerina, she struggled with eating disorders and wanting to be perfect. Seeking relief, she started training in jazz, and has clearly found her life calling. The judges loved her story and her dancing and she was sent straight to Vegas.

Olympic Dancer

Jason Kidd placed fifth in the Dance Olympics and his next goal is to win SYTYCD. He leaves all of the judges stunned and speechless. They give him not one, but three, tickets to Vegas!

Some crazy, memorable moments from the episode? A dancer took to the stage with a leopard-print lampshade while another acted like a bunny.
