Famous Sandwiches

Feb 06, 2015

Bread, cheese, meat, vegetables and spreads - there are infinite variations possible when it comes to sandwiches, but some of them are so popular they have an untouchable reputation, get the rundown of Famous Sandwiches!

Grilled Cheese

Gooey cheese grilled between two slices of bread is an all-time favorite of diner regulars and even sandwich snobs, and some people even grill them using their laundry irons!

Clubhouse Sandwich

Those toasted tiny triangles on toothpicks are enough to make anyone's mouth water, the classic club features three slices of toasted bread, lettuce, turkey, bacon and mayo - although there are delicious versions featuring chicken, tuna, roast beef and even just plain old veggies.

I apologize if I may have sounded like I was calling myself a genius in my recent post. What AlphaT,  I believe, was trying to make (count me in as well), at that moment, was how those who view 'intellectual kids' intelligent, are often the ones that misjudge them the most. And yes, we do not know everything. It's all just based on what type of person you would classify intelligent. The way I perceive them, is not by 'being individual, independent and definitely not a socializer' but having the eloquence, breath of knowledge, and a respectful attitude.  Nope, using fancy words does not make you intelligent. In a recent study, it actually makes you sound stupider, which is actually quite surprising! The truth of the general topic (fancy words) is that you are meant to use words that both you and your readers understand. We don't share the same vocab, but often we use words that are graded by many 'fancy words'. Let me tell you that there are no 'fancy words' in existence, but there are words that you plainly do not understand, leading you to classify it thereby as a fancy word, or if that's not the case, there are those that you'd probably think nobody would use, words that you don't use often, or big words such as 'quintessential'. I agree that certain big, 'fancy' words may be a bad idea to use when a smaller word would do, but sometimes, those 'fancy' words would be able to illustrate the point so much better.
