The Toki Tori birds are back and playable on the PC! Check out our game review for all the details!

Toki Tori 2+ is a puzzle platforming game that puts you in control of the Toki Tori birds. To progress in the game, you need to use the Toki Tori's abilities: whistling and stomping. As you complete levels, the Toki Tori will learn new songs to whistle and you will learn new and creative ways to use their stomping.

Jump Around

While the Toki Tori can only stomp and whistle, their actions affect the various creatures on each level in a different way. Stomping can scare creatures away while whistling attracts them to you. If you push one creature into a different one, you might see something interesting, such as a frog blowing bubbles after eating a bug. Learning what each creature can do is important for figuring out how to get through a level. The world of Toki Tori 2+ is not straightforward either. Some of the puzzles are hidden down different paths and part of the fun of the game is to explore the world in order to find them.

Cold Turkey

Using the Toki Tori and learning how their abilities affect the level is pretty fun, but some of the puzzles in the game are difficult or frustrating. A lot of them are based around timing and sometimes even luck. Even if you solve a puzzle in your head, you still need to execute the solution perfectly, which can take several tries in Toki Tori 2+. This can get annoying since random factors, such as the sparrow carrying something away, can stop you from executing your solution. Luckily, if you solve a puzzle, you don't have to do it again when traveling back through the level, thanks to shortcuts. Overall, Toki Tori 2+ is a fun game and the puzzles make you feel really smart when you solve them.

What you’re refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/LInux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

No they shouldn't be allowed to play video games.  The best thing for women to do is to go out and settle down with a nice dindu as soon as they reach the age of 18.
