Psykoblast Tour |Christina Aguilera | Genie in a Bottle | Picture | Singer | Tour Dates

Where: Vancouver, Canada
Concert Date: July 19, 2000

Put the rumors to rest about Christina Aguilera lip-synching! It was obvious she sang without the help of any backing tapes. The Grammy award winning Christina kicked off her first tour with McMaster and James, My Town, Soul Decision and The Moffats for her Vancouver show. The excitement was high as the crowd anxiously waited for her to do her thang.

Six twirling dancers set the stage, for what seemed like forever, when all of a sudden "poof" Christina exploded on stage with her smash single Genie in a Bottle dressed in a white genie costume complete with jeweled forehead and an I-Dream-of-Genie ponytail. Energetic Christina hit the crowd with her powerful voice and gave it everything she had. A DJ scratchin' and mixin' during the break got the crowd pumped ready for her return.

Surprises included an Etta James blues tune, At Last and the classic All Right Now. She wrapped up the show with a funkier version of What a Girl Wants while her dancers strutted their stuff in a dance-off. Overall I think Christina did a good job and fans can expect an exciting live show. Look out Britney this chick can sing!

No offense, but everyone keeps singing that song, and it's getting so old, I hate it so much!!!! I made some really funny, but offensive theories of Elsa, and I hate it so much, like I want to blow up Disney for that.
