NES Remix 2 Releases Soon
I didn't know what to make of the original NES Remix when it launched last year. But its unique twist on some games of my youth swayed me into a fan and thanks to a greatly improved roster of classics, NES Remix 2 looks set to make me an even bigger fan.

NES Remix 2 will be releasing April 25thon Nintendo's Wii U e-shop. If you missed out on the first game, here's what to expect in a nutshell. NES Remix 2 is a mini-game collection ala games like Warioware. But NES Remix brings Nintendo's brands together in more unique ways to create a mash-up of short gameplay challenges that Nintendo fans will love.
One challenge is based off of the great Super Mario Bros. but instead of Mario being playable, you play as Link, from the Legend of Zelda series and have to smash blocks with your sword to collect coins as fast as you can. Another has you attempt to kill 10 enemies as Star Powered Mario in rapid succession. NES Remix 2 is set to make a splash with retro game fans thanks to the inclusion of classics such as Super Mario Bros. 2 & 3, Metroid, Punch-Out and one of my favorites, Kid Icarus. Check out the new trailer below!
What excites me the most personally is the addition of Super Luigi Bros. It's the original Super Mario Bros. but played in reverse. So every level is backwards and you'll run right to left...as opposed to always running right. The original game is one of my most played of all time and seeing Luigi run left instead of right, as simple of a twist it is, has me giddy to play the game all over again.
If you're a Nintendo fan and are looking for something new that offers fun and quick challenges. NES Remix 2 is one to keep your eye on.
NES Remix 2 will be available April 25th on Nintendo Wii U. You'll be able to find it in the e-shop.
