Disney Infinity Playsets

The Disney Infinity series has been going strong now for a few years and the 3.0 edition works just as the past games have. Boot up the game, drop your figures onto the Infinity Base and use the now transported-in-game character to complete fun and varied objectives in the Play Sets (Worlds/Levels) which earn you pieces to use in the excellent Toy Box mode. Toy Box mode basically is a giant sand box that let's you mix and match characters, build your own worlds and even create your own little games to play. But take note, the 3.0 edition figures will not work with previous versions of the game itself. You need the Disney Infinity 3.0 software to use the 3.0 figures. Star Wars isn't the only property being given some love at launch though. A second play set is available separately as well. Based on Pixar's fantastic Inside Out movie, this play set comes with Anger and Joy figures.

"Your mission begins when Riley watches a scary movie before falling aslepp, which sends subconscious into chaos. Riley's memories are scattered all over Imagination Land, and it's up to you to help her Emotions return themto Headquaters before Riley awakens. To get the job done, you'll need the unique skills and abilities of each of the Emotions" says the official Disney Infinity site.
