Snowboarding - Kevin Sansalone

There aren't very many snowboarders out there who can do the tricks and land the jumps that Kevin Sansalone does. He's won a gold medal at the winter X-Games, and he's taken first place for his boarding creativity at several other events as well. But he's much more than just a snowboarder - he's also started competing in mountain biking and motorcross events.

The Sansalone File

Age: 24

Rides: Regular

Handle: Kev-Dawg

His Story: He likes big hills, big air and big meals

Winter vs. Summer Sports:

"Snowboarding is definitely my life. I wouldn't trade it for the world. The summer is nice and warm, but I have to say I like snowboarding and snowmobiling the best."

Chair Lift Rides:
"I usually don't ride the chair lift because I go to the backcountry to go boarding. The only reason I ride the lifts is to pick up girls, or else I'd be out on my snowmobile - hitting the back country. I'd love to go for a chair lift ride with Cameron Diaz."

Snowboard Snacking:

"I eat anything and everything. I'm a total pig."

School is Cool:

"In school, I liked power mechanics and stuff like that because I'm into dirtbikes and snowmobiles and big trucks. But I hated French."

What Makes Life Great:
"I'm very thankful for my amazing family and circle of friends. That makes me the luckiest guy in the world. Oh yeah, my job is okay too."

Kevin's job is more than just okay. He gets to ride the best ski hills all winter and meet hot girls. Now he's even making his own boards for Option Snowboards - the company that sponsors him.

They're throwing each other in the air, performing possibly dangerous stunts, not even mentioning that they have to wear those skimpy outfits in freezing weather.  And also, my sister got a severe head injury and a sprained neck while doing a stunt. That's more injured than i've seen a basketball player get.

So it's not really a sport. It still looks fun though. Actually, cheerleaders do compete. There are cheer competitions.  Agree! 9o9
