Vi3 - So Tight - CD - Review
Justin won Song Writer of the Year at this year's Chicago Music Awards for his songs on So Tight, an energetic CD that's surprisingly solid for a first album. The boyz define their sound as hip-pop (a little bit hip-hop, a little bit pop.) Despite what the guys say, it's pretty much pure pop, but there's nothin' wrong with that.
The title track, Eyes Closed So Tight, is a soulful ballad about lost love. If it doesn't have you teary-eyed, you should check if your heart's still beating. Expect to hear Turn It Up, featuring Da Brat, at the next party you go to cuz it's a great song to get down to. Hottie With a Body also stands out as one of the best songs on this album. Looks like some Hollywood big wigs noticed that too cuz the song will be in Boat Trip, the movie starring Cuba Gooding Jr.
The last track on the CD, On The Radio With Eddie And Jobo, is for those of you who just can't get enough of Vi3. It's a six-minute interview with the Vi3 boyz at a Chicago radio station. Stalker Alert! The boyz even give away where they live!
