Hot Wheels Highway 35 World Race Video Pack

If you're anything like me, you think having your toys come to life all Buzz and Woody-like is mighty freaksome. But after a couple of spins on Highway 35, I've decided to give the Hot Wheels World Race video the green flag of OK-ness.

To celebrate 35 years of Hot Wheels mania, Mattel and Mainframe Entertainment (ReBoot, Beast Machines and the upcoming Spider-Man) have joined forces to create four different episodes of World Race, where five teams compete in the ultimate race. The story of super-scientist Tezla (not to be confused with super-scientist Tesla,) and his discovery of a hidden inter-dimensional race track, is all action and satisfaction. I did keep expecting to see Glitch Bob and Megabyte go toe-to-toe, though. And, to plunk the proverbial cherry on your purchase, each pack also includes two official World Race cars to collect or hey, maybe even play with.
