Debutantes? Maybe. Punk? Definitely not. Still, the Cooler Kids first CD, Punk Debutante, has some fun, upbeat tunes. Check out what Sisely Treasure and Kaz Gamble have to offer to the new music scene.

There are two things that you need to know about the Cooler Kids first CD before you shell-out your bills for it. Number one: don't think it's punk rock cuz the name is Punk Debutante. Number two: Don't buy it if you're not into trippy, retro-type pop.

The debut CD from the duo of Sisely Treasure and Kaz Gamble (AKA the Cooler Kids,) is a flighty, happy, DJ-inspired tribute to old school pop. It sounds a lot like the stuff your parents were probably listening to when you were born. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Songs like All Around the World and Viva la Fever have fun lyrics and fast-paced beats. You could definitely hear Cooler Kids tunes at your next big dance party.

But, don't be fooled by the album's name. There is nothing punk on Punk Debutante. A better name would have definitely been Pop Debutante or Electronic Debutante - but hey, what do I know? If you're getting ready for a big bash, pool party or just feel like dancing around your room to burn off energy, throw in Punk Debutante and let the Cooler Kids get you groovin'.
