Here's the rest of Gary's review of the Scourge card expansion for the Magic: The Gathering collectible card game.

Magic: The Gathering - Scourge Expansion Powers

  • Landcycling

Don't like your card? Pay two mana and you can ditch it to draw a land card from your deck. Expensive cards with Landcycling are a great way to load a deck up with heavy hitters, but still keep the mana flowing early in the game.

    The Scourge Expansion Bottom Line

The Scourge expansion for Magic: The Gathering packs in more dragons, big monsters and expensive cards than ever. It also adds tons of ways to get the mana you need to pay for the big cards. Elves and goblins can start running for cover now, the big beasts of Magic are coming out to play!

    Scourge Expansion Thumbs Up:

  • Huge monsters that don't suck!
  • Dragons as far as the eye can see.
  • Lots of ways to get fast mana.
  • New card powers.

    Scourge Expansion Thumbs Down:

  • Big packs with only one rare each makes it hard to collect the whole set.

    Rating: 5
