X-Joints Build and Destroy Robot Toy

Building your own army of robots to take over the world, or at least your bedroom, just got a lot easier and more fun with the X-Joints Build and Destroy toy robot kits. They're not actually kits, cuz the robot is ready to kick your cat's butt right out of the box, but you can design your own robot by swapping parts and plugs. Here's the 411 for ya.

X-Joints Robot Toy Basics

The X-Joints robots let you custom build the robots cuz they have all the arms, legs and extra bits held on by connector pieces. This means a few really cool things. First, you can rotate all the joints all the way around without bustin' the bot. Second, you can take the whole robot apart and put it back together in any shape you want. There are even extra bits in the box and every piece has a bunch of different plugs.

Being able to custom build your X-Joints toy robot is totally cool, but the joints aren't all totally solid. They're not flimsy, and most of the joints are rock solid, but they're a really tight fit so popping the pieces together puts a strain on them.

How much does it cost to start building your very own robot army? The X-Joints are going to cost you about $13 US ($20 CAN.) The price is decent and, if you pick up a whole bunch, you'll be able to assemble them into a humongous monster robot.
