NHL 2004 is full of new and improved features from last year's addition of the NHL game family. Players are a lot more agile, which means you have a better shot at ducking in and out of your opponents to get the puck where it belongs - in the net! And, if you're on defense, there's a lot more hitting and fighting to make things a little more interesting.

NHL 2004 is not for the beginner hockey player. There are a lot more controls to learn and while your players do have more flexibility, this makes them a little harder to control.

Don't expect to swoop in and lead your team to victory on the first try. NHL 2004 was made for serious hockey fans who've worn out their copies of their other NHL games. It's a lot harder to score in NHL 2004 than in NHL 2003 but with all the new features, you'll never get bored trying.
