Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Skateboarding PC Game Review

Kidzworld reviews the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 skateboarding video game for computer!

The video game geeks from Aspyr have crammed all six-feet and two inches of Tony Hawk into the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 video game - with enough room left for a ton of his skateboarding buddies. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is two CDs worth of skateboarding action that'll let you grind with the best in the world without having to leave your computer desk.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 - The 411

The whole point of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 (THPS4) is to grab your skateboard, hook up with other skaters and pull cool tricks. The other peeps will give you goals to complete like collecting letters, getting a high score and other stuff. Once you pass enough of 'em, you'll be able to unlock more places to skate, different boards and more!

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Good Grind

The sweetest feature of THPS4 is that the maps are so big you could cram Godzilla into 'em and still have room to ollie. You can also pull tons of tricks, make custom skaters, hook up with other sk8ter punks online, build your own skate park and jam to some cool tunes while you ride your board.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Wipeout!

The biggest wipeout for THPS4 is that, unless you have a gamepad for your computer, it totally sucks. The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games are designed for video game controllers, not keyboards! The online action is a bit sketchy too - it works but it could be better.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Final Score

The Hawk's computer game has a few issues, but if you score yourself a gamepad you'll be diggin' it in a major way.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Age Rating: Everyone.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Thumbs Up:

  • Play online with sk8ters from around the world.
  • Create skaters & parks for custom rides.
  • Huge levels to skate around in.
  • Tunes to rock out to.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Thumbs Down:

  • Playing without a gamepad really sucks.
  • Sketchy online play.
  • Where's Avril Lavigne?

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Game Rating: 4

.-. I'm more of an Undertale Fan, but I like FNAF as well. Both are good games.

    1) This belongs in the game section. (Watch this get moved before I finish typing this lol) 2) I personally prefer Undertale (the majority of it anyway..). I don't really like the whole jumpscare thing, however I do Five Nights at Freddy's to be an interesting game for its art and vague storyline. 3) There isn't any such thing as "stealing fans". People's interests change over time. Some people may grow out of Five Nights at Freddy's and move onto Undertale, for some it may be vice versa, and some people may like both.
