You want to find the mysterious Mirage Island? Here's a walkthrough for you that'll help!

Mirage Island Walkthrough for Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire

To find Mirage Island on the Gameboy Advance you have to know where it will appear. The location of the island is in the big blank spot on Route 131, just before Route 130.

Now that you know where the island is, the trick to making it appear is that, well, there is no trick. It's a bummer, but there's no way to make it show up all of a sudden. All you can do is find the man in the house southeast of the Pokemon Center in Pacifidlog town. He's always watching for Mirage Island and, if he says he can see it, it's there.

Capturing Rare Pokemon in Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire

Once you get to Mirage Island, it's time to capture some Pokemon! The island is full of Wynaut Pokemon that you can battle and capture. Also, Mirage Island is the only place to get a Liechi Berry. Grab a berry before you leave so you can plant it and grow more!

Mirage Island is pretty wacky - the way it works is that each of your Pokemon has a secret number you can't see. Each day that you go to talk to the old man, the Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire game draws a random number from a list. If it's the same number as one of your Pokemon, then Mirage Island is there, if the number is different, then the island isn't there. Unfortunately, it's random and there's no way to control it. The best thing you can do is to bring six Pokemon with you each time you look for the island and to try once per day until it finally shows up.
