Blink-182 CD Review
Blink-182Blink-182 have picked up the guitars and are banging the drums once again. Their latest release, just called
Blink-182, has been a long time coming. If you were a fan of their 2001 album,
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, you must be dying to know whether the two year wait was worth it. Find out here!
Blink-182: Jammin' Tunes
It's been two years since Take Off You Pants and Jacket slammed the charts with hits like
The Rock Show and
First Date. Finally, Tom Delonge, Travis Landon Barker and
Mark Hoppus are back, and it was well worth the wait. The CD,
Blink-182, is filled with new and improved lyrics, along with the same hard
guitar rifts and
drum beats that have become Blink's signature style. The first single,
Feeling This, is catchy with a great chorus. Other stand-outs include the vocals on
I Miss You and the
lyrics and beat of
Always. But, there's really something great about all
14 tracks, so you're bound to find something else that's stellar that I've missed.
Blink-182: No More Small Things
The CD is definitely worth a place in your player, however it's not
overflowing with goofy-goodness as
Enema of the State or Take Off You Pants and Jacket. Seems like Tom DeLonge and they boys have grown up a bit and it's obvious in their
lyrics. Don't get me wrong, it's not
all mature and deep or anything. It's still fun, just less goofy. (I just don't think the guys will be running around naked in any of the vids for this CD).
Blink-182: The Bottom Line
The new CD, Blink-182, may be a little
different from the
Blink albums of the past, but it's still
quality pop-punk goodness. For more on the
