Sidekicks Book Review

The first Sidekicks book is a cool introduction into the super heroic world of Guy "Speedy" Martin and the rest of the League of Big Justice sidekicks. They're all kid superheroes in training who have to deal with homework, curfews, crushes at school, and even super villains! The characters are wacky, the jokes are witty and there are some real kid heroes at work. The Sidekicks series looks like it's off to a flying start.

Sidekicks: Operation Squish Book Review

The first Sidekicks book is awesome but the second falls flat. It's like someone put stupid juice in the water 'cuz all the sidekicks are so dumb it's painful. The first book was cool because the sidekicks were disorganized but managed to work together and make it fun. In Operation Squish, it's like the only reason they're there is to stop Speedy from actually doing anything. It makes for a weak sequel. Here's hoping that the next book can save the series!
