February 2004 Horoscopes

Kidzworld knows that sometimes, it's good to have the heads-up on what's gonna go down in your world. So here's the 411 - according to our astrology chick, Lunar Frost. Check it out and see if your zodiac sign says that the light at the end of the tunnel is something awesome or an oncoming train...

Aries

Aries

March 21 - April 20
To say that you've been [kwlink]stressed-out[/kwlink] about money lately is putting it lightly. You're actually starting to freak out a little. Take a deep breath and chill. You do need to deal with your unruly finances, but getting worked up about it isn't going to help. Instead, try writing out a financial plan - then enlist your friends to help you stick to it.

Taurus

Taurus

April 21 - May 20
You've finally managed to rid yourself of that nasty relationship. Keep running and don't look back! With time you will realize that you're a lot better off single. Besides, it won't be long before Cupid points his arrow at you again - and this time you'll have the experience to know a dud when you see one.

Gemini

Gemini

May 21 - June 21
You've strayed away from your fun-loving ways lately and it's starting to take its toll. Lighten up a little and start focusing on the big picture instead of all the little details that are getting you worked up. Stop taking yourself so seriously and take some time to veg with your BFF and a sappy movie.

Cancer

Cancer

June 22 - July 22
You've always been a bit on the crafty side but soon you'll find a way translate your skills into cold, hard cash. Don't sell yourself short - you deserve the recognition. Just don't let your new-found artistic genius go to your head; you're no Picasso - yet.

Leo

Leo
July 23 - August 22
You're on a bit of a self-improvement kick, which is all well and good, but don't set unrealistic goals for yourself. If you set your sights on the impossible, you'll be disappointed with all of your mini-successes you have along the way. Do yourself a favor and repeat this mantra to yourself, "Baby steps, baby steps, baby steps."

Virgo

Virgo
August 23 - September 22
You're finally taking steps to confront your obstacles head-on. Good for you - it's about time! Now that you're not hiding from your problems, you'll realize that they aren't as scary as you imagined. Whatever you do, don't let outside influences steer you off course - you know what's best for you. In other news, Valentine's Day will be full of surprises for you!

    Dear Dish-It In The Forums

    Yoisho
I'm in 8th grade and I ride the bus with a friend of mine. He's in 6th grade. Recently, I've had all of these weird feelings and I think I like him. He's so young but he already has a girlfriend. I couldn't get in the way of that. PLUS, everyone would make fun of me. I can't tell anyone this because I know I'll be judged.  What do I do?  :rain  :mad

My best friend's ten-year-old sister weighs close to that much, and she looks nowhere near fat. But even if you're shorter than most, I wouldn't worry about it until a lot later in your life, because kids tend to "grow into" their weight. BMI isn't always accurate, too, though; my BMI marks me as overweight, but I'm told by lots of people I'm average-looking.If you want to worry about it now anyways, I'd talk to a pediatrician or your parents or some other adult before taking action, and listen to any advice they may have. Made a typo first time around. Fixed it. First sentence said "weight" instead of "height".
