Dream - It Was All A Dream - CD Review

There's a hot new girl group on the scene and they call themselves Dream. Life must seem like a dream for the four young girls who released their first CD in 2001 entitled It Was All A Dream. The group could best be described as Destiny's Child meets TLC. The first single He Loves U Not pairs slick lyrics with smooth vocal harmonies. I think the best song on the album is Baby. It's sweet - yet catchy and the vocals are great!

The CD has a pop-R&B feel with a lot of focus on blending the girls voices together. Other gems include the song Pain which kind of reminds me of TLC's Waterfalls and a remake of Mr.Telephone Man - a song made famous by bad-boy Bobby Brown's old group New Addition. I found the uptempo ballad When I Get There inspiring and uplifting. It's a good song to listen to when you're down in the dumps. The Dream gals also include sound clips of the group playin' around and chatting inbetween the songs. If you like groups like Destiny's Child or Innosense I'm sure you'll dig Dream.
