Simon's Blog - February 25, 2004
Hey dudes, I am in computer science class and we have some free time before the bell rings, so I thought I would start my blog. It's Sindy's idea. Both our 'rents have been on our case about long distance bills, so we can't call each other as much. Sindy figures we can stay updated on each other's lives by reading each other's blogs. So here goes...
Life kinda bites right now, to be perfectly honest. I am totally sucking at school. It's nothing new, except this time I am actually trying. I studied my butt off for the last History test! I even skipped b-ball practice and turned off the tunes - but I still only got a D. My dad is freaking on my head every freakin' night. It doesn't help that mom is working the night shift at the hospital. She usually helps me with my math and stuff, whereas dad just yells. Great.
Anyway, Miguel said he would help me with homework after school today. You know it really sucks when your older brother feels sorry for you. Miguel usually takes pleasure in my pain. Dad says if I don't pass my math test on Friday, with at least a C+, he's not letting me go to the skatepark for a week. No pressure there!
So.... does anybody have any study tips for me? Sindy's already suggested tea with ginko biloba and I actually got my mom to buy some. If I am willing to drink girlie tea, I am willing to do anything - so somebody help!
