2004 Slam City Jam
The planet's top skateboarders, including Andy MacDonald and Ryan Sheckler arrived in Vancouver for North America's biggest skateboarding event. Kidzworld has the goods on the 2004 Slam City Jam.
Bucky Lasek went big once again at Slam City 2004. He easily won the Vert Champion title with a incredible series of aerial lip tricks. Chris Gentry finished second after stomping several frontside rodeos in the pipe. Sandros Dias, the Brazilian boarding master, took third place.
In the Street Competition, fan favorite Ryan Sheckler, failed to defend his Slam City title and finished in third place. Sheckler was narrowly edged out by Greg Lutzka and Brazilian switch machine, Rodil Junior. Ryan Sheckler still wins top marks for having the best haircut and being the only 14 year-old at Slam City who didn't have to borrow money from his parents to attend.
