Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and John Cleese star in Shrek 2 - a Dreamworks animated movie.

It's been a couple years since we first met Shrek, Donkey, Fiona and the fairytale gang, so let us jog your memory. Shrek rescues Fiona, they fall in love, get married and live happily ever after... or do they? Shrek 2 is now out on DVD - find out if it's worth spending your allowance on.

Shrek 2 - A Fairytale Begins

Shrek 2 starts off with Shrek and Fiona on their honeymoon, ready to take on life as a married couple. But, when Fiona's parents, the King and Queen of Far, Far Away, invite the couple to their castle to celebrate their marriage, things start to go downhill.

Shrek 2 - A Dream Come True

Shrek 2 may not be a story you grew up with, but it's definitely one you're going to remember. This time around you get introduced to a ton of new characters, including the suave, Spanish cat, Puss in Boots and the handsome but self-absorbed Prince Charming. You see, Fiona's dad hires Puss in Boots to kill Shrek so Prince Charming can swoop in and claim Fiona as his bride. So now Shrek, Donkey and the friends they meet throughout their journeys, have to foil the king's plans and fight for the girl of his dreams. There are laughs galore in Shrek 2 and there might even be a few tears - it's just that good.

Shrek 2 - The Poison Apple

What could be wrong with a movie about an ogre, a talking donkey and a bunch of your fave childhood fairytale characters? Nothing. Shrek 2 never misses a beat, from start to finish. There are even musical numbers throughout the show which you can't help but start tapping your toes to. If a bad thing had to be said about this animated flick, it would have to be that there should have been even more Shrek and Donkey antics.

Shrek 2 - DVD Features

This DVD is absolutely packed with special features. You'll love the "Far, Far Away Idol" section, which features your fave Shrek characters, spoofing American Idol and battling it out in a hilarious singers' showdown. Simon Cowell is even one of the celebrity judges! The DVD also includes several cool Shrek 2 games and music videos of all the best Shrek 2 songs.

Shrek 2 - And They Lived Happily Ever After...

Mow a couple extra lawns this week or offer to babysit your neighbours kids cuz you're gonna want to catch Shrek 2 a couple of times. You'll probably want to grab the soundtrack too. Yup, Shrek 2 is going to be a classic.

"Set in the fictional town of Rosewood, Pennsylvania, the series follows the lives of four girls, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, and Spencer Hastings, whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their leader, Alison DiLaurentis. One year later, the estranged friends are reunited as they begin receiving messages from a mysterious figure named "A", who threatens to expose their deepest secrets, including ones they thought only Alison knew. At first, they think it's Alison herself, but after her body is found, the girls realize that someone else is planning on ruining their perfect lives." It's based off the book series by the same name and it's these girls that get tormented by "A" and it's like a mystery. You'd probably want to start from the beginning or it'd be hard to understand, it's on Netflix.
