While Shobu Kirifuda from the Duel Masters comic book, TV show and card game storyline is off dueling with giant monsters in a different dimension, tons of other peeps are playing the TCG. The Duel Masters: Sempai Legends video game lets you hop into the shoes of an upcoming master duelist and it gives you a mission when some jerk of a card-thief steals the awesome new card you get for your birthday. What's this Nintendo Gameboy Advance game like? Read this game review to find out!

Duel Masters: Sempai Legends Basics

As you boogie from town to town trying to find the creep who stole your card, it's duel time. Your skills as a Duel Masters Kaijudo master will be put to the test as you duel your way through tournaments, improving your reputation, collecting medals and cards, until you can confront the thief.

Dueling Madness in Duel Masters: Sempai Legends

If you're in the mood for a collectible card game and a ton of duels to test out your deck strategies - Duel Masters: Sempai Legends is perfect! It's just like playing the Duel Masters card game, but against computer opponents and with a storyline. You can collect 180 different cards and build different decks with them as you squish your opponents with your masterful Kaijudo skills!

Duel Masters: Sempai Legends Game Weaknesses

The dueling is good and the computer opponents, while they aren't hard, put up a decent fight. The biggest problem is that a lot of the graphics get old fast, and keep being re-used. Also, the plot is pretty ho-hum, especially considering how much cool stuff there is in the Duel Masters game - what with the dimension full of monsters and all that.

Duel Masters: Sempai Legends - Hit or Miss?

The dueling is great, there are a ton of cards and strategies to play with and there's even a story to keep you interested. Unfortunately the graphics are weak and the story could use some more power. But, if you're looking for a solid strategy game Duel Masters is totally worth picking up.

Duel Masters: Sempai Legends Age Rating: Everyone.
