Malcolm in the Middle - Surgery

Malcolm starts feeling some pain in his tummy on Tuesday morning. At first his Mom thinks he's lying so he can miss a day of school. But when he's still sick on Saturday, Mom sends him to the hospital. The result? Malcolm has appendicitis - that means they gotta carve open his stomach and take his appendix out.
Does the family worry or miss Malcolm? Not really. They're too busy realizing board games are more fun when the genius isn't there to outsmart them all the time. Meanwhile, things just keep getting worse for Malcolm. He has to use a bed pan to take a piss, and a crazy nurse who looks like Frankenstein keeps trying to give him needles and pills. Malcolm starts to feel better and begins to think he doesn't actually have appendicitis. The doctors don't believe him, so he makes friends with a lab guy and gets him to do a new blood test. As it turns out, Malcolm is actually healthy and the doctors screwed up.
Malcolm's not home free yet. The crazy nurse and the doctors still want to cut Malcolm open so they give him a needle to knock him out. But Malcolm the genius is a step ahead of them. He writes on his stomach the new blood test results and that he'll sue them if they start cutting. When the doctors see this, they put their scalpels back in their pockets and Malcolm is allowed to go back to his family, which he realizes is much better than a freaky nurse and a bunch of over-eager doctors.
