So, summer vacation is just about over. I'm heading back today after two weeks of hangin' out in California with Sindy. The West Coast was totally cool and it was great to see Sindy. She's basically been grounded for the past few weeks because she got that belly button ring, but her parents cut her some slack while I was there and let us go do some stuff on her own.

We went wakeboarding, hung out at the beach and I met her new boyfriend, Kaelin. He's not a bad guy. We went skateboarding one day, and he's not bad. He's not as good as he thinks he is and nowhere near as good as I am. He can't kickflip and can barely land an ollie. But whatever, he skates. That's all that really matters.

Going back to school totally sucks. It's gonna be cool to see my friends - but I definitely won't be talking to Kara. She spent the whole summer in Florida and didn't even send me one postcard or email - what a bag! I'm definitely not looking forward to getting up early every day to hear my teachers talk about a bunch of stuff that's totally boring. Fractions? Who cares? History? Why bother? I'd rather take a nap.

How was your summer vacation? Are you bummed that you have to go back to school? Or are you looking forward to seeing all your peeps again? Let me know.

Later,

Simon

Back 2 School... Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down?

    • Thumbs Up! I've been bored all summer and can't wait to see my friends.
    • Thumbs Down! I hate school. Give me another two months off.
    • Thumbs halfway. I'm excited to go back to school but I'll miss my vacation.

    B-who-u-r-and-SING
My best friend and I were really close before and hung out all the time, we were both in musicals and both got smaller parts, and if one of us got a bigger part, it was her. Then she took voice lessons with an amazing voice teacher and got a little better, she took lessons for about two weeks and then I decided to take lessons too. After about three weeks people were saying that I was an amazing singer and all of the sudden my maybe-best-friend hardly talks to me. She always seems really sad. (Keep in mind that my friend can't sing well) I don't know if she is jealous or what, and please don't think that i'm conceited by thinking she might be jealous I am just wondering. Please help!

I almost always get along with my cousin but sometimes I burst. my grandma always somehow finds out what I want and gives it my cousin and if my parents are around she treats us equally and that is another thing that makes me mad is she acts like the best grandma in front of my parents but the second they are gone she is a different person
