Microsoft's Zoo Tycoon 2 is under development by a horde of Microsoft's video game designers at Blue Fang Games. These game geeks are hard at work programming lions and tigers and bears so you can play with 'em. Zoo Tycoon 2 PC Video Game Upgrades and Improvements
The old
Zoo Tycoon game let you build your own zoo, fill it with
critters, and make tons of cash from the visitors.
Zoo Tycoon 2 is the same deal, but with
3D graphics! This makes your zoo critters look cooler than ever and it means that you can enter a "tourist mode" where you can wander your zoo with a camera, check out how cool it is and take pics of your animals. You can even climb into the enclosures with the animals without getting eaten by the lions! But, don't try that at a regular zoo unless you want to become a
personburger!
Zoo Tycoon 2 - Polar Bears and Other Cool News
When
Microsoft isn't busy making
cool games for your
PC,
Xbox and other
video game systems, they're hiring polar bears and giving money to zoos. What?!? Yep - in a contest that wrapped up a while back,
Microsoft gave "honorary employee" status to Magnet the polar bear from the
Baltimore Zoo. Now they're giving $25,000 away in their
America's Favorite Zoo contest and you can vote for the winner from September 20, 2004 until October 15, 2004. Check out the details at
