This is will probably be the last time I answer on of these Kobe Vs. LeBron threads.
Anyways. Since we are taking the player as an individual, the winner would have to be Kobe Bryant.
The reason being the fact that Kobe is just an overall better player than LeBron. Kobe has been playing with Michael Jordan and giving him problems even at that time. He studied Michael Jordan's tape since he was 10 years. He has literally copied the Michael Jordan has played. There are videos showing the sheer and utter similarity between the two.
Now people would say that he sucks because he is coping him. Every basketball player tries to be Michael Jordan in their own way. Kobe made the easy choice and just copied him exactly. When MJ had the Flu against the Jazz during the '97 NBA Finals, he scored 40 points against them. He was pretty much dying on the court and making three's and driving it in. Same thing happened to Kobe. He played the Pacers and scored 40 points as well.
Kobe has just done great things. Look at his highlights. Look at the crazy shots he accomplishes. He shoots the ball with the worst planted feet and lands the sloppiest and still sinks it. He doesn't shoot from the 3-point line. He shoots from the invisible "4-point line". He has 5 Rings. He has the second and third highest record for point in a single game under Wilt Chamberlain with LeBron just now getting there.
This will definitely be my last post because, I know after shedding all this knowledge on you, you will say that LeBron is better. He is a good player but, he is not on the level that Kobe is on. Even Michael Jordan, the best basketball player in the world, said that he would be LeBron in a basketball game 1v1 while Kobe would be a problem for him.
It's Barcelona. I bought quite a few lot of players and made some changes. It's a monster team now 8)
