I've got a new best friend! I'm still hanging out with Ben - but I've got a dog now too. My parents picked me up a puppy from the SPCA yesterday. My mom's been all weird lately - she says I need to have other interests outside of video games and skateboarding. So, she thinks having a dog will teach me to be responsible. Whatever, I'm just glad to have a pet.

My dog's name is Ralph - he's part black lab, part terrier, and part a bunch of other things - he might even be part wolf - I don't know but he's totally rad. My mom always complains about how messy me and my brother are - but I'm not sure a dog is going to make our house any cleaner. In the first hour he was at our house, he took a crap on the carpet and chewed up my older brother's brand new Air Zoom Lebron's. He was not impressed - he kicked Ralph, punched me in the side of the arm and said I have to buy him a new pair of sneakers. Well, I don't have any cash and Ralph doesn't either, so Miguel's dreaming if he thinks I'm buying him anything. If he'd kept his sneakers in his room, and didn't leave 'em lying around the house, Ralph wouldn't have chewed them up.

What are you guys doing for Thanksgiving? Any big plans? I'm just glad to have the day off school. I'll probably take Ralph for a walk somewhere and then spend the rest of the day watching football and eating turkey. Anyway, Ralph looks like he could use a bathroom break so I better get him outside before he has another accident in the house. Do any of you peeps have pets? - I could use it.
